Living small means a little more planning—no space for a second freezer here. Loved this post, though! So helpful for those of you who do have one. It’s all about making the most of what we’ve got, right?
Absolutely! Using the resources we have to their fullest. How do you manage/organize a small freezer? I'll admit that the little freezer on top of our fridge is pretty poorly organized.
In our small-space freezer, I keep it simple and intentional: one bin for frozen fruits and desserts, another for meats—usually that extra pound I didn’t need right away, plus a few ground beefs for later.
The door holds our essentials: chicken nuggets, fish fillets, meatballs, and biscuits.
I buy what we need, use what we can, and freeze the rest. Then when it’s time to meal plan, I start by shopping my own fridge and freezer first.
